Invictus (poem)

William Ernest Henley wrote the poem Invictus about never giving up and having a never faltering will. I can relate to this in swimming last year where I was sick almost every day however I went to practice and never "... winced nor cried aloud." I went to practice every day and had my best season ever. The lines "And yet the menace of the years Finds and shall find me unafraid." mean he isn't afraid afraid of the future and I also live with the idea that the future is exciting but to never fear it.
